Bishop Titus Deas, Jr. See Other Info

Pastor Titus B. Deas, Jr. was born on March 30, 1973 in Tallahassee, FL to Bishop Titus and Missionary Joann Deas. Saved at the age of 16, like Moses, he was hidden until the set time for his God given ministry gift to be revealed. At the age of 20, while attending Florida A & M University, he was called into the ministry. The greatness on his life quickly manifested and in January of 1995,he was appointed as the Sr. Pastor of Donald's Temple First Born Church of the Living God. Under his leadership, the church grew from 0 to over 200 members in the first two years and is continuing to experience phenomenal growth as it prepares to add a second location. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Philosophy in December of 1996, Pastor Deas was thrust into full-time ministry in January of 1997.

In April of 2002, Pastor Deas oversaw the erection of a new edifice. By the leading of the Holy Spirit, the new structure was given a name befitting that of the calling on his life, Deliverance Temple Ministries. Concerned about the total man; spirit, soul, and body, Pastor Deas' vision has expanded to be what will one day be known as Deliverance World. Deliverance World will include, but is not limited to, a parochial school, daycare, financial institution, affordable housing, and a retreat area for ministering rest and relaxation in a fun Christian atmosphere, a multilevel complex where a training center will be housed to teach skills that will enable the trainee to gain viable employment, restaurants and a wellness and fitness center.

During October 2002, Pastor Deas founded the Bridging the Gap Outreach, Inc. (BTGO), a non-profit organization housed at the Deliverance Temple Ministries. Under the umbrella of BTGO, a summer program has been operable for over five years and has served up to 55 school aged students per session. An after school program has also been incorporated as an intricate part of educating our youth. The after school program serves to assist youth in their educational pursuits as well as to provide afterschool care for youth who might otherwise become latchkey kids. As a means of fun and relaxation, BTGO hosts an annual fellowship cruise whereby people from all over the country come together. During the cruise, BTGO hosts workshops with the focus being on Faith, Family and Finance.

Pastor Deas is married to the lovely Mrs. Sakina Deas and to this union was born one beautiful daughter, Diamond Ajoi Deas.
